I guess it's about time I blog...

MALAKAI ASHTON BODEN

So I've been pretty bad at blogging, but I now have more things to blog about, or just more things that I can show off. :)

Malakai Ashton Boden. The most beautiful thing I've set my eyes on. I don't understand how you can love someone so much. A love that I can't even explain. The feeling I get each time I look at his little face. I love seeing me in him. I love seeing Garrett in him. 

Our little Malakai is growing each day. I love being at home with him, and watching the changes in him. He is so beautiful, and such a blessing both of our lives. 

He has begun to stay awake more hours of the day, so I get to look at his big brown eyes. 

He knows my voice and follows me with his eyes as I move around the house to get things done.

 

These simple little things make my day! I love his little noises. His coos and ahhs and all of his other little squeaks he will make throughout the day. I love to watch him sleep. 

We have tummy time with him and he picks up his head and moves it side to side. He doesn't like to be on his tummy for too long, but we enjoy watching him.

We also like to sit him up on the couch. Today it was so cute...I had him sitting up on the couch and he just fell asleep sitting up. It was so funny to see him on the couch in the corner sleeping sitting up. 

All the little things he does are so cute, and fun to watch. I can't believe how much he's grown in the past 5 weeks. Wow. 5 weeks flew by I don't even know where all that time went to. It really does fly by so much faster when you have kids. 

Kai has sure grown so much in these past weeks, he gets cuter and cuter each day. 

I love each stage he goes through, and I'm excited for more!

But don't worry, I am definitely soaking up and enjoying each day!
