this year is a special year! this year will be the first year garrett and i have spent christmas in utah together! i'm so excited! it feels like we haven't had a 'white christmas' in far too long! last christmas i was very sick and pregnant, and i was away from home. i'm so happy to not be traveling, as much as do love california and the bodens. garrett and i have been in the christmas spirit a little earlier than most. we have had our tree set up for almost 2 months. it's funny how having a decorated tree in our living room can bring such a beautiful spirit to our home, and even though we have to keep a fence around the tree, it still is beautiful (if i say so myself.) i love christmas. oh how i love everything about it. i love the season of giving. i love the christmas parties, and food. i love being close to my family and friends. i love hot chocolate and cold nights. i am so excited for our yearly christmas eve program, and santa's visit. i'm excited for christmas morning waking up and going to the parents for breakfast, oh how i've missed christmas breakfast!

Oh, Anjali! We love you so much and we are so happy that you will be spending Christmas with us! We have missed you being with us. Thank you for missing our Christmas traditions, they are really special to us. You, Garret and Kai, along with everyone else, will make Christmas complete this year!
